A large segment of the religious world denies many of the plain truths that are specifically affirmed in the word of God. Especially those truths that are associated with salvation. Why? The denials are largely due to traditional denominational beliefs and teaching. It is extremely difficult for people to change their beliefs and practices even when scripture teaches they are wrong.
It is an undeniable religious truth that God exists.
Many simple things declare the existence of God. The perfect book affirms the existence of God. (Genesis 1: 1) Human life affirms the existence of God. (Acts 17:24-28) Wild and tame animals affirm the existence of God. (Job 38:39, 41; 39:1, 19,26,27) Nature affirms the existence of God. (Job 38:16-35) Proof of God’s existence is all around and it is undeniable. We need to look, think, and believe the evidence!
Another undeniable religious truth is true wisdom is not of this world. There are two kinds of wisdom; one is from below and the other is from heaven. Earthly wisdom is unspiritual and demonic. (James 3:15-16) Heavenly wisdom is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy, and good fruit; impartial and sincere. (James 3:17) The person who is really wise lives for God and treats their fellow human beings lovingly and respectfully.
It is also undeniably true that a person who is religious is not necessarily a Christian.
A Christian is a follower of Christ, the Messiah.
The disciples were called Christians. (Acts 11:26) Those who were obedient to the message of salvation in Christ were Christians. A person who is an associate of man-made religion is not a Christian. Adherence to man-made religion does not make a person a Christian, and a person cannot be a Christian and serve God in human religious societies. Christians were members of the one and only body of Christ. There is one body. (Ephesians 4:4) It is the body or community that Yahweh’s Son came to earth and established. (Matthew 16:18).
